The game world is a post-apocalyptic space, on the territory of which three groups have long ruled: Slavers, Railroad workers and Cultists. The protagonist begins his journey in POSTWORLD on behalf of a simple survivor, who in the process can become a member of one of the factions. In an open world RPG with a non-linear storyline, a fourth grouping is gradually revealed – the Transnational Company. She controls the entire wasteland and crushes the rest under her.

On the territory of the world are fierce battles for power, resources and shelter. The hero will have to refer to all three groups at the beginning of the game in order to somehow understand the game world. For example, in order to better modify a huge number of weapons, the basic abilities of the Railroadmen will help you. If you choose to restore health and quickly change limbs (more on that later), then the road to the Cultists is open. In case it’s more important for you to take hostages and rob them from head to toe, then the Slavers are your blood organization.

The health of the character is restored in shelters, while he can lose one of the limbs, but immediately gain a new one by customizing his body. The quality of the limb depends on the enemy from whom you took it.
