About This Game
Space Hulk is a 3D turn-based strategy game in which it is important to use the right tactical decisions to defeat an opponent under the control of adaptive artificial intelligence, which adapts to the actions of the gamer and complicates life with countermeasures. The setting of the indie project is the popular universe of Warhammer 40,000, the developers have received an official license to use the lore of the fictional world. Most of the time the gamer will spend within the boundaries of the territory called “Sin of the Curse”.
In the single-player campaign, the gamer gets the role of a manager in a small detachment of space marines who are trying to resist a horde of aggressive space inhabitants in the face of a race of tyranid genestealers who have begun to actively seize territories to expand their own influence. A total of 15 missions are available (3 prequels and 12 main ones), all of them are based on the board game of the same name and set different goals for the user, to achieve which you must try to choose the right tactics using the available forces.
The multiplayer component includes both local “hot-seat” and online battles with random people. There is a cross-platform that allows you to play against users with other operating systems. Each party differs from each other due to the element of randomness in attacks and the abilities used, which may not cause damage due to various factors.
