About This Game
Incredibly complex rogue-like – Our Darker Purpose – based on the game about Isaac, will send us to the Orphanage for Lost Children, where we can level up our character and take part in a hardcore RPG-rogue game. The plot immediately introduces us to a teacher who just left the classroom and disappeared forever. Cordy – the protagonist – is a student in a simple class where the children were left to look after themselves. Panic begins in the classroom, chaos, the boundless behavior of those who do not know how to kill their time. Along with this, the disappearance of the teacher is slowly revealed, and it turns out that a portal to another world has been opened in the Orphanage.
All the crazy stuff happens on our floor of the school. Kordy is convinced that by going up to the upper floors she will find the administration that will solve all the problems, but the distraught classmates and other wild creatures do not even let her choose from the first class.
The game has a feature in the structure of the passage – rogue-like. We will die often, and the levels that we will go through again and again will be created in a completely random order, with completely new locations, furniture, objects and enemies. Resources scattered throughout the levels help you craft and upgrade items, and can also be used to buy skills and upgrades before the start of any round.
Fast dynamic rogue-like – Our Darker Purpose is one of the unique ways to play a game that feels so much like The Binding of Isaac. Here you can combine resources, skills, abilities, items, and defeat enemies each time in more and more sophisticated ways, hiding a secret weapon in your sleeve.
At the levels there will be both simple monsters and classmates who have become opponents, but also bosses, presented in the form of a fat boy from the last desk or a teacher who also plunged into chaos.
