About This Game
A third-person shooter – Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered – has undergone a lot of changes, the main ones are highlighted in the form of a graphical component. Alec Mason in the last part helped the SOZ recapture Mars from the Ultor invaders. Now the POPs have established their own totalitarian regime on the planet, using the full power of human dictatorship. The game takes place on Mars in the year 2120. The protagonist, after the events of the first part, joins the rebel detachment, and begins an intensified hostility against the “Earth Defense Forces”.
The entire map of Mars is divided into 6 major regions, the total area of which is 12 square kilometers. The gradual establishment of power and the destruction of enemy forces leads to the victory of the rebels in a certain territory. You can only conquer territory by completing story missions, however, the game is divided into scenario, main quests and side missions that open up the open world of RFG to Alec.
For each captured zone, the player increases his reputation and receives scrap metal – the game currency. It can also be used to upgrade weapons and the character himself. You can move around the game world on special vehicles, on which you can also destroy buildings and get scrap metal from this.
From the side quests, it becomes clear why the player needs so many destructive weapons. For example, there is a whole class of missions in which you have to destroy as many buildings as possible in a certain region; there is a type of quests where we are asked to help the rebels destroy the same buildings, but which are protected by POPs; there are also those where it is necessary to deliver a piece of equipment to a certain place, break down a building, catch partisans and pull them out of the hands of the PLO. An additional rare quest is to steal data, a weapon, or a movement unit from the Earth Guard Forces.
The network game involves several modes for players, connecting them on one map. Destruction of the team, the capture of territory, the capture of equipment, the destruction of structures, holding the territory or farm guns to quickly destroy the enemy.
